Meeting Instructions

Our meetings take place at the Microsoft campus, Building LC1, in Las Colinas, Texas. When you arrive, you will need to stop at the reception/security desk and inform the guard that you are attending the SharePoint User Group meeting. You will then be escorted to the meeting room.

Each meeting begins with an informal networking session during which you will have the opportunity to meet with fellow professionals, talk to sponsors, make new acquaintances and get information on upcoming events in the area. Food and drink are available in a buffet-style arrangement for your refreshment. After the networking session, the group organizers will discuss important news, sponsors will make some brief announcements, and the featured speaker will be introduced. The main presentation then commences and runs for about 45 minutes to an hour, after which the breakout sessions for Developers and IT Professionals will take place. These are shorter, less formal discussions, which often include a brief presentation by a local community member and last 20 to 30 minutes.  Following each meeting, there is a casual social gathering at a local bar or restaurant for additional networking and discussion.

As a courtesy to everyone attending, we ask that you register for the meeting in advance to help us ensure the proper amount of food and drinks are available.

Our goal is to educate and inform our members so that they can succeed in their careers. In order for our monthly meetings, as well as all other DFW SPSUG activities and events to be positive experiences, we have established a few simple guidelines that we expect everyone to follow:
